Papa: akriti, I want you to get married now...you are 23 years old and it's the right time to marry and moreover a proposal came for you today and it's from the most reputed and richest family in India.

Di: papa what are you saying? You are asking me to get married and that too all of a sudden.

Papa: riti beta I am not forcing you but today I got call from your grandfather's best friend and he said that he wants your hand for his elder grandchild Abhimaan.

Maa: akriti your papa is right and this is the right age to get married....aur vaise bhi you are independent so I don't think that there is any reason to refuse this proposal.

Di thought for sometime and said

Di: thek hai papa lekin ham pehle unse milna chahenge.

Papa: beta but his family wants you both to get married after next week.

"Whatt?" I , adi and di we all three shouted together.

Maa papa flinched a little.

Papa: bacche listen to me pls .. actually Abhimaan's marriage was fixed with some other girl which was going to take place the next week but that girl ran away and now his family wants you to get married to him as they have already invited all the VIP's from all over the world.

Di: but papa ...you want me to be his replaced bride..I didn't expected this from you papa....I always thought that you love we three more than anyone but today by saying this you bursted my bubble.

Papa: nahi riti bacche, aaise baat nahi hai agar tum mana kardogi to hum unhe is shaadi ke liye inkaar kar denge par usse pehle ham tumhe ye jarur batana chahenge ki unka hampar bohot ahsan hai....agar un logo ne hamari madad nahi ki hoti to aaj hame nahi pata ham tum sab ko lekar kaise rehte aur kya karte?

Papa said remembering that night when we left Banaras all of a sudden.

We don't know that what happened with papa 6 years ago that he asked us to pack up and leave Banaras all of a sudden. Only maa is aware about it. Whenever I or di tried to ask him he just shrugged off the topic by saying that he will tell us when the right time will arrive. And we never forced him because we know that whatever he is doing or will do will be only for our benefit.

Di again thought for sometime and then said

Di: papa I understand but how can I marry someone to whom I don't even know and that too next week.

Papa: beta I know it's really hard for you.. but believe me Abhimaan is best for you and his family is also very nice..you will stay happy there.

Di: papa I need some time to think.

Papa: fine but whatever is your decision tell us by tomorrow and remember that your father will never take any wrong decision for you and one more thing it's now our duty to save their reputation because they helped me in the most worst phase of my life.

Saying this papa left and maa said

"Beta I hope your decision will be right".

Now maa and papa were gone and we all three went to adi's room.

Adi: I am not able to proceed whatever just happened in last 2-3 hours. First divu di said that she is married and now papa is asking riti di to get married to someone to whom she don't even know.

Di: Adi how do you know that divu is married?

Di asked him as soon he finished. Adi looked towards me and then at di.

Adi: di told me just a while ago about whatever happened with her that night.

Di nodded and asked me

Di: divu what do you think? Should I

say yes for this marriage..

Me: di I don't know...my life is already messed up..I don't know what to say right now.

Adi: see riti di, I am very serious right now....just tell me your decision..I don't care if it's yes or no ....but I promise I support you with whatever decision you will take.

Me: yes di, I will also support you....so forget about everything just happened or what maa papa said. You just tell me that what you feel about this and we will happily support your decision.

Di: I think that I should say yes because I know that papa will never let me do anything which is not in my favour and vaise bhi ek na ek din sabko shaadi karni hoti hai.

Adi: di but itne jaldi I mean next week shaadi hai.

Di: I know adi but if papa is saying me to marry him then he must have thought about all this.

Adi and I we both nodded and then I noticed that some tears were falling down from his eyes.

Me: Adi what happened bacche? Why are you crying?

Adi: di I can't believe that now di will also get married. I was still in shock because of your marriage and now Di's ....

We both started laughing loudly. He also joined us.

di passed us 'done' look. Everyone knows that we both love watching movies and chilling out late night. But because of this JEE....I was concentrating more on studies. It's nearly been several months since we watched movies together and done late night parties. I and adi, we both were excited but di....

Di: nahi adi, tomorrow divu is having her exam and if she will not sleep properly then she will not feel fresh tomorrow.

Me: nahi di, nothing like this will happen. Pls na let's watch a movie..

She refused again but after convincing her a lot she finally agreed.

Di also like parties and all ....but she is very serious about our studies too.

Me: okay first let me get some popcorn and till then you both arrange projector and decide the movie. And haa...di pls order something.

Saying this I rushed downstairs.

Next day

I heard someone knocking the door and I opened my eyes. I saw di and adi still sleeping beside me.

Whole room was a complete mess. Pizza boxes, chips packets, colddrink bottles and many other things were lying on floor which we ordered last night from swippy.

I quickly got up and started hiding all the pizza boxes and all the other things under the bed. If maa comes to know about all this, she will definitely kill us.

Because of Di we can order whatever we want as maa would never give us money for ordering all this.

She doesn't like parties late night but papa is completely opposite of her.

Before Di's job, papa used to give us money for all this.

I looked myself in mirror and corrected my hair properly. Then I opened the door...here comes booommmmm

I said "maa actually door got stucked." I lied.

Listening maa's voice both the sleeping figure woke up. When they saw maa their eyes came out of their socket.

They both looked around to see the condition of room but I already cleared all the evidence of our crime. Both looked at me with 'thank god' face.

I slowly winked at them...but...maa saw me winking at them...hey shivji Aaj to Gaye hamsab...I thought

Maa searched in the room for collecting some evidence against us and she successfully found all the things under the bed..

She gave us a good scolding session for more than half an hour.

We all were just looking at eachother blankly.

Then she finally exited the room ordering us to clean up the mess we created.

The whole day went like this. Di told papa about her decision and papa was more than

happy. He said that we have to leave for Lucknow tomorrow early morning. My exam also went good. I just hope I crack it.
